My BIG day!

Well June 30th is here and gone.

I had my procedure this morning at 10am. I was a little nervous for it, but I put my big girl panties on and went in and got it done.

They laid me on a table and Mike sat in the chair at the head of the table. They gave me about 10 shots to numb the entire area, and Mike's face was priceless. The doctor asked him if he needed to sit in the waiting room? They left us in the room for about 30 minutes, I guess for the shots to work or for my nerves to totally freak out. I am truly not sure why I had to lay there so long. Mike and I laughed and I tried to read my book...... In walks the doctor and the nurse and they are ready to begin. So they cut out about 2 inches in length and 1 inch in depth of my skin, flesh whatever it was. At one point Mike gasped and I knew he was grossed out.

This poor man has had to witness every awful side of me. From 2 c-sections, to having every skin issue under the sun, he stands beside me and makes me smile. I was so glad that he was there beside me, I felt a sense of calm while the doctor was digging away. I am truly so lucky to have the wonderful husband that I have and the many wonderful caring friends that I have.

Hopefully in a week I will hear back from the doctors as to the results of this biopsy. But, for now I am in some serious pain and will be medicating myself to sleep tonight.

Much love,

McF

Just add MORE water!

We decided on Sunday that it wasn't fair that Blake hadn't gotten the chance to swim so we loaded up the truck and headed to The Galloway Country Club. Leah and Curtis were busy with their babies so we didn't get a lot of time to visit, that will change when the boys get a little older.

Wow- I let Mike take a pic of me in a swimsuit. Nothing will deflate your bubble faster than seeing a swimsuit pic of yourself. I have to remind myself that the tire around my waste is from having 2 babies and I will get rid of that sooner or later. I am on the right track. down 25 UGH!

Isn't Baby Bake (as Lils calls her) just precious. Look at those beautiful blue eyes.

I wonder if we will ever get a picture of the 4 of us with everybody looking at the camera???

What a weekend!

Mike and Lils met me at the resort on Friday night, Lily hit the ground running as soon as she got out of the truck.
There was so much for her to do there, she was in absolute heaven. We went to dinner Friday night, and walked around to see the river and the horsies. We made the mistake of showing her the pool so it was over after that, we changed into our suits and basically had to run after Lily on her way to the pool. Lily just loved it, she played in the sand and swam around, we had to beg her to get out of the pool. She slept like a rock in bed with her daddy.

We woke up on Saturday and went down for breakfast, we walked around after breakfast and soon found our way back to the pool. I was not real excited about going and hanging out in the hot sun all day, but Lily couldn't be stopped. We hate lunch by the pool and then headed up for a nap. She again passed out!

After our naps we went down and rode around on the tractor, she wasn't sure about this at all. She really just likes to see a tractor from afar. So we talked her into a ride in the hay.
We left the resort and went to Austin for dinner, the food at the resort is less than SO-SO, we were off to eat mexican food at Matt's El Rancho (YUM)
When we got back we headed back to the pool and hung out in there for a couple of hours. Again I had to bribe Lil's with ice cream to get her out.

We ordered room service and all passed out! We had such an amazing time. We missed baby Blake so much, but she had a wonderful time with GoMa, next time she will come along too. Thank-you so much GoMa!
