My new goal!

I have been stuck in a rut for months now..  I am not losing weight and I am not gaining weight.

I was at the gym the other day when a trainer came up to me and said, "I see you in here everyday, but you are doing the same thing..  You have to change it up."

That jump started me.  I am on day 3 of changing it up and adding weights to my new life.  I guess the elliptical for 45 minutes 6 days a week is not cutting it anymore.

I have purchased my first KETTLE BELL and can not wait to get to work with it.  I have a new goal to have a flatter tummy and a little more muscle in my arms and legs before our trip for Thanksgiving.  HERE WE GO!!

Just messin'!

Just some pics of the girls messing around on Monday night while the rain came pouring down...

Saturday SANS kids in the Rilla!

On Saturday mom wanted to go and see Reubon play at a biker bar.  Reubon is Faviana's husband (she has cut my hair since I was 8).  We were all a little nervous about what a biker bar entails.... and also a little worried as to how we were going to stay awake to watch the band start at 10.

Mom, Susan, Ashley and I went to golden light for dinner.
They have excellent hamburgers (not as good as Coyote Bluff) but still it was great.  On our way in the door we had to be helped up the front step because it was so slippery, no not from water or ice or anything of the sort.  It was from GREASE!  Thank goodness I had Ashley to hold my hand on the way to the bathroom, the floor was coated with GREASE and it was almost like you were ice skating.  I guess that is when you can tell you are eating good burgers and fries.  Thanks Ash for helping an old lady out..

And also thank-you for driving in from Midland to see me.  I sure miss your sweet face.  Damn why do you live so far away?

It was then a little past 10 (AT NIGHT) so it was time to head to the biker bar.  We didn't really fit in there, but I wasn't expecting to.  We had a lot of great people to watch, some with teeth and some without.  I actually had 1 beer (Becca I know you will be proud).

I woke up Sunday with a dull headache, I wont be trying that one beer thing again.  On Sunday mom and I met Jules and Justin for lunch before I headed back to Houston and to the family.   I had a great time in Amarillo and was so glad to get to spend some alone time with my mommy and my best friends..

Trip to the Rilla SANS kids!

I made my way to Amarillo with out the girls.  I know that everyone was sad to see me without them, but it was nice to get away.  This was my first vacation in some time.

I started my day at the donut stop.  I can not tell you how wonderful these donuts are..  I pulled up and thought who in the hell eats these before work???  Well there were 6 cars in front of me and I looked in my rearview mirror and there were at least 6 behind me.  I am still blown away that people eat this on a regular basis.  But, it was so yummy.  I went to see Breezy at work and parked my hotrod on the street.  I was worried someone was going to steal my donut holes.
I know you can not see the car very well, but I will tell you it was BLUE BEAST.

I worked on Friday and actually made some really good calls.

Then it was time for dinner with mom, Breezy and Matt.  We went to a place called Napolis and had some grub before heading out to see Ron White.

If you don't know who he is, you should.  He is funny as anything.  We went to school with his sister growing up and she is just as hilarious and crude as he is.  I learned more than I ever wanted to about... how do I put this on the blog???  Well, lets just say, what men really enjoy???  I will leave it at that.  We had a great time and it was good to see Matty and Breezy...

Around the house!

Just a few pics I snapped this weekend. We did not do much. I got home late Friday night from Killeen and Mike was sick as a dog on Saturday. Poor guy, I made him go to the mall so the girls could play on the castle and ride the train. He was a trooper, had I only known how sick he really was.

Look who is a big girl and doesn't have a high chair!

Lily waiting for her daddy to bring her some food home..

This is Blake's favorite thing to eat.  She has 2 a day and it takes her an hour to eat it.

Going in for the kiss...

Wear your cowGIRL hat to school day.

Boozer is super excited to have her pic taken...

Who moved my cheese???

Have you read the book who moved my cheese? Well if not you should. I had a really hard time with Lily changing schools. The first day she went to the new school was awesome, she loved it. They next week and a half were a nightmare, more for me than for her. She would scream and cry when I dropped her off in the morning, and would cry most of the day. Primrose is an amazing school with amazing structure, and that has been really hard on Lils. They have stations that they go to each morning. They divide up into 3 groups and each group does science for 30 minutes, and then they switch to what the group next to them was doing- maybe reading, writing math ect.. Lily has had a hard time understanding patience and understanding that she has to wait until its her groups turn to go to the next station. Her last school was run more like a zoo so there was no order and she is for sure not used to that. I have been so stressed about her hating her new school that I broke out with the Hives and have not slept in the 2 weeks...
I was out of town this week and Mike would text me each morning with a report as to how she did at drop off. Each day was a little better and Friday's report was that Lily took off running towards her class and was super excited to be there. That report made my heart smile. And at the end of the day Mike said that Lils ran up to a friend of hers in the parking lot and was chatting with her before they got in separate cars to go home.
She seems very excited about the new school and has said over and over again that she is ready for Boozer to go there as well. So August 1st I will be making the transition over for her. Wish us luck!!!

THE WIGGLES!

I bought tickets to The Wiggles a few months ago, and then Mike reminded me that he was going to be in Vegas. So I called MoMo and made her come to the rescue. I am not sure I could have taken them both by myself, so she drove down to Houston for a week. I always love when she comes to visit. The girls had a great time with her as well. Blake really took to her this time and wanted MoMo to carry her around instead of her mommy. Of course Lily loves it more than all of us when HER MoMo comes. They are good buddies. Here are a few pics that I took at the show.

Blake and MoMo walking and chatting

Ooops what happened to Blake

Getting excited for the show

Ooops I brought the wrong toy for Blake..

First day at PRIMROSE!

Lily started her new school today, she did awesome when I left there, we will see what her opinion is when I pick her up.

Had to take a picture of this angel too.  She sure doesn't like not riding to school with her SISSY!

4th of July!

On the 3rd we went over to Leah and Curtis', you might ask why I don't have pictures... Well Lily and Blake are under the weather. Lily with a double ear infection and Blake with a nasty nose and nasty cough. So mommy went over for a couple of hours and then daddy went.
On the 4th I decided to turn the backyard into a water hose park. Blake is not sure about getting wet, unless of course it is in the bath. Lily loves every second of it. She could stay out there for days, she quit early because she was tired and not herself.

We had my favorite vegans over for dinner on the 4th.  They brought black bean burgers, and I have to admit I am SOLD!!  I thought it was awesome.  I can not wait to eat the leftovers, and I know my mom will love it too.  Mike was not too sure, so he grilled a real burger.  I miss these 2 so much, and was so glad to have them over for a bit..  It took Blake a little while to warm up to them, she kept lowering her head and backing away (yep shy like her mommy)
Blake was very interested in helping her Godmother clean dishes.

Auntie Jules puts them in and Blake takes them out..  DONE!

The girls got to watch fireworks on Jules' phone.  Poor Jules had to play it about 100 times.  She sure didn't seem to mind.

I told them they have to come over more and stay in Houston longer so Blake will know them.  I know as she gets older she will not forget them, it had been a month or two since they had seen her.  She has changed a lot since then.
