Kemah
MoMo and I loaded up the girls on Sunday and headed to the Kemah boardwalk. The girls had so much fun, I know we will be doing this again when it is a little COOLER!! Being the awesome mommy I am, I forgot sunscreen (and the girls and I paid for that). Blake refused to be carried anywhere so she slowly walked all over the place. Lily road the airplane alone (scared her to death), I had to sit in the plane with Blake and I think if I had been in the plane with Lily she would have loved it (sorry no pics of that, MoMo is not much for taking pics).
We rode the train around the boardwalk and even found ourselves in the middle of an old western shoot out. No No No, not modern day shootout, old days..
Had lunch at the aquarium BARF!!! But, the girls love looking at all the fish. And would you believe it, NEMO was even there.

The love shack!!!
On Saturday we decided to try The Love Shack, a burger joint not to far from our house. We will for sure be going back there more in the fall. It was perfect for the kids to play and for the adults to chat. I ordered the Dang Dang burger (the waitress warned me that it was HOT) it was nothing near as hot as the Burger from hell at Coyote Bluff. I paid dearly all weekend for eating that burger. :)

First Indian Wedding Reception.
On Friday night I left the house at 8:30 to go to Sabina's wedding reception (what we would call a reception). I was not real thrilled about this event, but I am so glad that I went. What an amazing experience. I learned so much about all of their traditions and had such a great time. I was the only non-muslim there and they were all so welcoming to me. I am so blessed to have Salma in my life and so thankful that she includes me in her life.
I left the party at 11:45 and they were just beginning to sit down and eat their dinner. I was not aware that the parties lasted so late into the night. I was exhausted and had to head home. I was told that the party lasted until after 3...
