Decorating the Tree with a Fever!

Mike and MoMo put the tree up before MoMo went home. Lily thinks this is the great thing ever. Even with a fever she still wanted to put "her" ornaments on the tree.
Every morning she runs to daddy and says, "Dadda, lights on".
We have all of the lights outside up and she thinks it is all great. It is so special decorating now, I just know in my heart that it is all for her. The smile on her little face is worth every bit of it. I will finish the inside of the house this week and we will enjoy it for a month. Then its get the house spotless for #2 to arrive!

I love the holiday season. Work is dead, which is NOT great, but everthing else is perfect.
We are not sure of our plans for Christmas this year. My brother and Jessica will be here Christmas Eve, so I am looking forward to the holidays with them.

Turkey Day Fryar's Style!

We had Thanksgiving at our house this year. We all had a good time.

Lily helped MoMo make the monkey bread (which was a huge hit).

Pops carved up the Turkey that I cooked (I might add that it was damn good)
Mike entertained all of the kids, I guess that was his job this year. He did a great job at it!
We grilled pork tenderloin, well Mikey did the grilling. I heard it was very good as well.

Our next house the kitchen will have to be much larger.
The girls enjoyed their lunch together.
MoMo fed everyone monkey bread.

This is a pic of Mike when he was way OVER it. Time for the family to go home so Mikey can enjoy some quiet time. :)

Big Day!!!

We had a doctors appointment last Wednesday and learned that our baby Blake will be delivered on January 21, 2010. That is less than 2 months away (Thank-you Breezy for bringing that to my attention). We both are getting so excited for this. Lily does not know what is going on, but I know she will love her too.

Birthday Dinner and 2nd Annual Lily Fair!

We had a birthday celebration on her actual birthday. CC and LeeLee joined us along with MoMo. We let Lily do whatever she wanted and she was perfect with that. She got a little doll for her birthday from CC and LeeLee and that has been her favorite so far, she carries her everywhere. Although we have decided that she is not ready to be a mommy, when she is tired of the baby she throws her on the floor. :)

Lily's 2nd birthday party was such a great time. She was so excited that all of her besties from school came to spend the special day with her. She kind of forgot about all the rest of us and played with Larlos (Carlos) and Landon.

We all had such a good time, and I was exhausted when it was all over. Thank-you to everyone that shared in the special day with us. Especially Breezy and Matty for flying all the way from Amarillo for the weekend.

We sure love you all,
Fryar Town

test and such

Well, I after 3 hours of hell yesterday I did pass the glucose test. So I am very excited about that.
I am busy getting Lily's birthday together, nothing like last minute either. Last year it was all planned and done by August, this year well umm I have dropped the ball. So I am getting everything together. I leave for Austin and Killeen tomorrow and will be a wreck wanting to get back and get everything in order.
My mom comes in on Thursday so I am so excited about that. Someone to help me with all of this and someone to also help me get Thanksgiving together. I am so stressed and overwhelmed with all that we have going on. I am thinking that we have to re-think Thanksgiving with it being so close to Lily's birthday. Maybe just take a little vacation each year around this time of year. I am ready to start our own traditions! I love having Lily's birthday party here and don't wanna stop doing that for a few more years. I love having all of our friends and family over and just hanging out. So we will see. Who the heck knows how I will feel when I will have 2 wild women in my house make that 3 including me (Poor Mikey). Right now I feel really tired thinking about it all!
I have been wanting to buy Lily the Elf on a Shelf book, but I know she is too young for it. So today I wondered in a store and there was the author she signed it for Lily. I am so excited about that. I will have to wait a year to bring it out, but that will be something special for her to have when she is older. It is the little things that make me smile! She signed the book: Dearest Lily, Always believe. I just love it!
Anyways that is enough from me for now, I have a ton of stuff to do and time is running out. YAY for my baby turning 2 on Friday!!!!!

Terrible time!

We are having a terrible time trying to decide if Blake will be Blake Michael or Michael Blake. When I say it out loud I think I like Blake Michael, when I write it I like Michael Blake. We just can not decide. If it is Michael Blake then her and her daddy will have the same initials, which is what I like...... Just add this to my list of worries.. :)

Doctor Visit

I just got home from the 1 hour glucose test and we will have the results in 3 days. I am hoping that I do not have to take the 3 hour test. It is awful!!!

The doctor measured my belly and could not believe how far to the left that Blake is. Well of course she is, she is in my left uterus so she is totally opposite of Lily. We talked about my blood pressure which was a huge concern with Lily. The main reason we delivered Lily early was because of my darn blood pressure. I am doing great with that so far. With Lily is started acting up around 31 weeks, so we hopefully will not have the same issue. I have 33lbs to go to catch up to where I was with Lily, so THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN!!!!!

I hope to hear that my test results are negative and that the doc doesn't want me back until the day before Thanksgiving for our regulare scheduled appointment. :)

I will keep you posted!

Blake's Shower

Blake's Amarillo shower was perfect. I know that I say it all of the time, but I truly have the most wonderful friends. The older I get the more I realize how lucky I am to have so many true people in my life. And it is strange how we all came back together.
Breezy and Berk have always been in my life. Breezy is my kindred spirit, a girl that has always been by my side, no matter what. The most non-judgemental person ever, and believe me there were many times where it was okay for her to be judging, I deserved it. We have been non stop friends since I met her before 6th grade. Berk is her sister and another wonderful soul.
Julie, well this is a long story. Basically a sister that I never had. We were the best of friends in high school and then as they say, "things happened" and we drifted apart. I truly feel like we were meant to drift apart so that 13 years later we would re-connect on facebook and pick up like we were never apart. I felt 100% complete when we re-connected, she is a friend that I was so sad to lose and so happy to find.
Ashley, this one throws many people for a loop. She was the cheerleader girl and I knew her our freshman year of high school but then we never ever hung out after that. We also connected on facebook and have found that we have so much in common and she has become a sister as well. I know that I can call her and (when she answers) she is there to listen. I called her when I was first pregnant with Blake and was freaking out. She calmed me down and told me that I can do this. I am so thankful to have her in my life.
I truly feel like these girls are the sisters that I never had. The girls you turn to when you need an ear or a fashion consult, they are truly wonderful people. They are all family to me, and I am thankful to have each of them. I just wish we lived closer and got to see eachother more!
Breezy, Berkley, Ashley and Jules rock! The decorations were beautiful and the food was to die for. I could have stayed there all day just eating. Not to mention they even had sonic ice..... Now that is some serious detail!

After the shower I was even more excited for baby Blake to come into this world. She is already so loved and will complete our little family. I can't wait to be a family of 4..
Love Love

All about Blake!

We are 7 months now. I am getting so excited and to be honest totally freaking out. This past week it has really hit me that she is coming. And she is coming SOON!! I am pretty much ready with the room and everything, but the emotional side of me is not ready yet. I have so many mixed emotions. After talking to friends, I have found that I am not a crazy person, but a normal person. It is normal to feel the fear and the sadness for the oldest child, I don't want Lily to be upset about this. This will pass the closer it gets. Next week is a big week for us with doctors appointments and ultrasounds, so the more I see her the more relaxed I will become (I hope). I already love her so much!! I just have so many different feelings right now!

I have gone back and forth with her name and Mike and I have agreed that her name will be Michael Blake or Blake Michael not Mikell Blake or Blake Mikell. I am leaning towards Michael Blake a little more. I think she needs to be named exactly after her daddy. Her older sister is named after her momma so it only makes sense. :)

Halloween Amarillo Style!

I don't think that people would ever believe what it is like in MoMo's neighborhood for Halloween. It is unreal!!
We had so much fun. We went to a get together at Alice's house before the trick or treating began. We ate fruit and mummies, that's right mummies. All the little girls ran around and laughed at one another and had a great time.
We then headed over to see Auntie Jules' and trick or treat her house.
On our way to MoMo's house Lily got a little jealous seeing all of the other kids talking to her MoM0. So she had to go and take charge of the situation. I have never in my life seen a child less afraid of scary masks in my life. She was the one that handed out all of the candy and when she would run out of candy in her pumpkin we would quickly have to refill.

I am sorry I am so behind on my blog. I am out of town and have been for what feels like months. I promise to update my blog next week and let you all know how our trip went. For now here are some pics of the angel.
