Salma came to visit!

There are no words for me to express how I feel about this woman. Salma, came to visit Blake and I know they will be best friends as well.

Our first week!

We survived our first week as a family of 4! I was in the hospital for sometime so it was not reality until I got home. My mom has been here helping out and I am so thankful for her. I don't know what I will do next week when she leaves, well besides cry for days.
All in all things are great. The sleep has been hard to adjust to, but Mike and I have really come together as a team and are doing shift work with Blake. So that works! Since he is working I am taking the all night shift, he takes Blake until midnight and then gets her back at 6am. So I am truly lucky to have his help. I know a lot fo my friends are not as lucky when it comes to that.
Lily is pretty mad at her mommy, but I know in time that will get better. I knew she would be upset, but not like she has been. I can not pick her up and play with her like I always did so she is not really understanding that. Although, I have picked her up and done things I was told specifically not to do, and now I am in pain so I wont be doing it again for a while. Another reason I am thankful for my mommy, she has been so helpful with Lily. They are like best buddies and Lily will truly miss her when she is gone. But, hopefully I will start feeling better and can do more and more with my biggest baby.

I am so thankful to all of our friends that came to the hospital to meet our newest angel. My best friend from childhood Jules, came and stayed with me everyday and helped me to stay calm and take care of Baby Blake. She spent one night with me, and we had a little slumber party. I enjoyed every minute of her company. I know there is a reason that she was brought back into my life after so long. I know that we will have so much fun together with my girls. I just need her to move south NOW! I appreciate everyone that came and kept me company while Mikey had to work, you have no idea how much it meant to me. It is times like these that you know how true your friendships are.
Much love, McF

1:30pm
We couldn't be happier to introduce Blake. We are home and doing well, lack of sleep is something we are all getting used to. But, our family is now complete and we are so very thankful.
Lily is adjusting to the baby girl, she has had a little bit of a tough time with it, but all in all she is doing well.
Thank-you for all of your prayers.
I knew my prayers were answered the first moment I saw her.

I will blog more when I get a little more rest.
Much love,
Fryar's family of 4

A note to my dearest Lily,

You have brought so much joy and happiness into our lives. I can not remember a day without you in my life. Your sweet little smile is something I could never have imagined. I remember being pregnant with you and wondering what you would look like and who you would act like. We were so excited to have you and to bring you home to start our little family. You could not have come at a better time in my life. After losing my father I was in a place that I thought I would never get out of. Until I saw you for the first time, I knew that life was just beginning for us. To this day I am so sad that your grandfather never got to meet you and see how special you are. I know that he would have loved you so much.
We are bringing another life into this world, and I worry everyday about how you are going to handle the new addition. I never ever want you to feel left out or alone. I never want you to feel second best. These are the things that I worry about for you. You are my little angel and nothing in the world would ever change that. I can not wait to be a family of 4, I just know that we are going to have so much fun. You will be a big sister and Blake will look up to you for the rest of her life. She will want to do what you do, wear your clothes, play with your things. You will have a best friend for life. I am so thankful that she has you and that you will have her. My heart will be so full with love for my family and I just can not wait to begin this voyage.

All of my love to you,
Mommy

Scratch that 12 DAYS!!!!

The doctors appoinment went GREAT this morning. My blood pressure is very low, which is good. Mike and I were concerned as to why it has been so low, but she said that I am just used to the numbers of when I was pregnant with Lily and how high they were. So all is well there. Dr. Sherri just looked at me and said WOW, when noticing how large my stomach has gotten. Well how large the left side of my stomach has gotten. So the new date is January 18th at 12:30pm. I can not believe it!!!!! Now I really have to get my organizing done, not to mention all of my work finished up before I go on maternity leave on the 15th.

17 DAYS!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!! 2010 can you even believe it???

Just wanted to update the blog with a 2010 post. I have nothing new to report but does that really ever stop me?

Things are coming along we have 17 days to go until we meet our baby girl. I can not believe how fast it has gone. Well fast and now really really really slow! Things are going great, I am to the "over it" point, but hey that happens to everyone. When I was pregnant with Lily you could always tell that she was in my right uterus, it wasn't until recently that you could totally tell that Blake is sticking out my left side. It is rather amusing knowing exactly where her little head is at all times. My sleep has gone out the window, so instead of getting out of bed and getting things done I lay there and make HUGE lists in my head. I have cleaned out Lily's closet now, it really needed it, so I feel good about that. My next challenge that I will get done before Friday's trash day is cleaning out the pantry. That darn thing is making me crazy. Not to mention that our lovely housekeepers have been on vacation for a month and my house has turned into an upside down snow globe that seems to get shaken every night. I can't bend down to pick anything up so I just sit there and look at all of the toys on the floor. Mike has been a huge help, but I am too the point where I am pretty much over bossing him around FOR NOW!

I have an appointment in the morning to see where we stand. I am praying for no cervix check, but somehow I don't think I will be getting my way on that. I know that Dr. Sherri loves me, so maybe I can beg her not to check. :) I am also going to go and visit the new labor and delivery at the hospital. They just opened on December 6th and I have heard that it is an amazing place. I thought where we had Lily was really nice and couldn't see why they needed to change. But, I am not arguing, just praying for room service, HOT cabana boys, and someone to fluff my pillow at all times. Oh wait, this isn't a resort!?!?!?! Oh how I forget.

I am hoping that Blake makes it to the 22nd so that everyone will be there this time. I have a few friends that are coming and of course MoMo will be here to take on Lily. It was hard not having mom here when Lily was born so I am keeping my fingers crossed this time. Although I found out that Mike and I can really work well together as a team when put in that type of situation. He was really good to me, well until he started in on my snoring. That is an entirely different story!

I have to give a little shout out to my friend Miranda. She just had a baby girl 3 weeks ago and Reese was her second as well. She has truly been my rock through out this entire pregnancy. Someone to talk to and someone that totally understands the feelings I am feeling. Sometimes you think you are crazy until you find someone that is feeling the same way. Maybe we are all a little crazy. It is amazing that going through something like this together will bond you for life. So I am truly thankful to her for always being there for me. I think in the past 9 months there has not been a day that we have not chatted on messenger and that has helped me to stay calm! So thanks Miranda!!!!

Anyways I will update you as to how my appt goes tomorrow. Until then!!!!!!
