A Saturday in the Mile High city!

On Saturday we hopped up and headed out to find a restaurant that we had seen on Man Vs. Food. We found Jack-n-grill www.jackngrill.com just in time to cure our growling tummies. This place had the biggest burrito I have ever seen. Mike did not order the 12 egg burrito but there was a family that did. Mike's burrito was big enough. My tacos were so yummy. I was a little nervous about them, I am not a huge breakfast person at all. But, they turned out to be wonderful. This place was a little hole in the wall but was packed by the time we left. It was so good we almost went back the next day!

Denver has these places all around that you can put your credit card in and take a bike for a spin. We had a wonderful time cruising along the river, well until a man told us we were on the wrong side. I guess the walkers are on one side and bikes are on the other- o-well we aren't from around here!

After an afternoon of walking around downtown Denver we headed to the festival. It was a madhouse of traffic and people. Many more people than last year. We watched Amos Lee as soon as we got there. He put on a great show, it was too short. They only gave him 45 minutes. The weather was nice and inside the tent was a nice breeze.

Leave it up to my husband to find a whole foods tent that was selling peaches for $1.00!

Stephen works with Mike, this is a pic of him and his fiance Erin. They are really a cool couple. Young, but cool!

We had an amazing time. I walked around by myself if there were bands that I was not interested in. The had a lot more things to look at this year and it was fun to walk around. While waiting for bands to come on stage, I was the nerd sitting in the grass reading my book. When Jack Johnson came on I just knew I was never going to make it. I was so tired, as soon as I saw him I was excited beyond belief. I don't think there was a minute that I wasn't dancing around. We had a great time and I was so glad we went!
